The author undertook to complete a very topical work that fills a gap. It is clear that we are living in an age of new-minded planning. It is certain that the implementation of environmental aspects will be an increasingly required condition not only in environmental plans, but also in development strategies. The previously narrow interpretation of environmental planning, which mostly covered the arrangement of the environment, will broaden and there will be no territorial or sectoral planning task that would not require cooperation with the environmental planner. Planning becomes a process, the planner also monitors the implementation of the plan and updates the plan. Years ago, we would have needed knowledge and knowledge carriers that would have contributed to the training of environmental planners who are familiar with the requirements of new-minded strategic planning and sustainability. The book fills a significant part of these gaps, provides a comprehensive picture of the sub-areas of environmental planning, their connections, and provides methodological assistance in solving the tasks that arise in certain types of plans. It is intended for students of environmental, nature and landscape protection, environmental planning, environmental management, environmental science, as well as regional, territorial and rural development majors, and for practicing professionals who, through their job, are responsible for preparing or preparing environmental plans.
